Nafin and BEI to finance wind parks in Coahuila and Zacatecas
Mexico, Nov. 3 (Notimex).- National Financiera (Nafin) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan contract for 100 million dollars to finance renewable energy generation projects in Mexico.
The general director of Nafin, Jacques Rogozinski, emphasized that this contributes to strengthen the green strategy of the institution and helps them to advance in the scope of the climatic objectives of Mexico.
"This line, for 100 million dollars, is a milestone in the successful relationship we maintain between Nafin and the EIB, and I am very pleased to know that we will continue working together to develop institutional capacities and promote more sustainable projects in Mexico".
In turn, the vice president of the European Investment Bank, Román Escolano, stressed that with this financing operation they initiate an important strategic cooperation that will provide more support to sustainable energy solutions throughout the country.
The loan contracted will support the development of two wind parks in the states of Coahuila and Zacatecas.
